Documents Required

General Requirements (for all applicants)

• Proof of fee payment (attach receipt).
• Copy of all passport pages (including front and back cover and all empty pages).
• Signed employment contract (if the internship is paid).

Additional Requirements by Internship Sector

1. Green Sector Internships (Agriculture, Veterinary, Forestry, Horticulture)

• Proof of language proficiency (A2 level or higher in Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English, or German / IELTS 3.0 or higher).
• Proof of enrollment in an educational programme.
• Acceptance letter from a Danish agricultural or technical college (if applicable).
• Internship approval (host organization must be recognized as a place of internship).
• Declaration from the host organization confirming:
  • The organization employs an apprentice or has attempted to employ one (only if there is a general shortage of apprenticeship places).

2. Healthcare Sector Internships

• Proof of educational background (including a list of subjects studied).
• Proof of relevant work experience.
• Proof of financial means (if the internship is unpaid).
• Internship provider’s detailed description of:
  • Work tasks.
  • Educational plan.
• Declaration from the internship provider confirming:
  • The internship is professionally sound.
  • Work is conducted under supervision of a responsible person.

3. Architecture Internships

• Proof of educational background (including a list of subjects studied).
• Proof of financial means (if the internship is unpaid).
• Internship provider’s detailed description of:
  • Work tasks.
  • Educational plan.
• Standard internship agreement and guidelines from:
  • The Danish Association of Architectural Firms (Danske Ark).
  • The Danish Union of Architects and Designers.

4. Internships in Other Fields (Natural Sciences, Technical, Pharmaceutical, Cultural, etc.)

• Proof of educational background (including a list of subjects studied).
• Proof of relevant work experience.
• Internship provider’s detailed description of:
  • Work tasks.
  • Educational plan.
• Proof of financial means (if the internship is unpaid).
• Internship approval (if required in the sector).
• If no formal approval is available, the host organization must submit:
  • Internship programme details.
  • Supervision plan.
  • Host organization’s internship experience.

Important Notes

• Ensure all required documents are submitted to avoid delays.
• Fees are non-refundable, even if the application is rejected.
• Work outside the approved internship is not permitted without an additional work permit.

• Size: 35mm x 45mm
• Head Length: Between 30mm and 36mm (from chin to top of hair)
• Color: Must be in color with a bright background
• Quality: Clear, high resolution, and free from shadows or reflections
• Expression: Neutral facial expression with eyes open and mouth closed
• Head Position: Facing forward directly at the camera
